12/2: Aqueduct (5th-10th)
AQUEDUCT
POST-SCRATCHES 5th: NY-ALW/N1X, 3+, 8.5f-T (P6, P3, DD) Best Value: #5 Gucci Factor 6-1 WON ($12.20) Next Best: #3 Minsky Moment 3-1 2nd Exotics Use: #2 Vintage Matters 4-1 7th Super Add: #8 Pocket Player 8-1 4th 6th: 78th Go for Wand (G3), F&M-3+, 1m (NYRA Bets P5, G/S, P3, DD) Lucy N Ethel will take them a long way up top if unencumbered. Am confident Highway Star and Jamyson 'n Ginger, (Verve's Tale too perhaps), will be in hot or close pursuit.. Most Likely: #1 Jamyson 'n Ginger 9-5 7th Best Value: #3 Going for Broke 6-1 4th Next Best: #2 Highway Star 2-1 2nd Exotics Use: #5 Verve's Tale 5-1 3rd 7th: NY-MSW, 2yo-F, 6f-Outer Turf (P4, P3, DD) This is an ugly assembly with 4 firsters lining up against a hatful of bumbling whatnot. Summer Squeeze (8-1) is a half to the connections' SW'ing Summersault and totes a gate bullet in for debut. Hennig can win at first ask on occasion. Straw Hat showed a modicum of closing ability in last which should come in handy today with a number of flashy early speed displayed on the paper. Watch the board for clues to start your P4.. Best Value: #10 Summer Squeeze 8-1 10th Next Best: #9 Straw Hat 5-1 11th Exotics Use: #5 Silverado Mist 7-2 4th Super Add: #4 Rachel's Blue Moon 12-1 WON ($31.40) 8th: 96th Demoiselle (G2), 2yo-F, 9f (P3, DD) Wonder Gadot wasn't beating Caldonia Road in the Breeders' Cup, but she deserved a better fate than she received after losing her best check chance mid-rally. Gets pilot enhancement with JV too. Out of an A.P. Indy mare, Serpe's Broman-bred Held Accountable looks like a gal that will keep improving with added distance.. Most Likely: #3 Wonder Gadot 2-1 WON ($5.20) Best Value: #4 Held Accountable 8-1 5th Next Best: #5 Indy Union 6-1 6th Exotics Use: #6 Maurer Power 4-1 2nd 9th: 104th Remsen (G2), 2yo, 9f (DD) Like stablemate Good Magic, Alkhaatam has huge shot to break maiden in a serious stake spot after getting a terrific education in challenging one turn mile debut 5 weeks ago. Shadwell homebred by Tapit has worked 17f since that outing and will win here.. Most Likely: #7 ALKHAATAN 7-2 4th Best Value: #10 Tap Rap Strike 8-1 5th Next Best: #2 Triple Dog Dare 6-1 8th Exotics Use: #5 Catholic Boy 5-1 WON ($10.20) 10th: 29th Cigar Mile (G1), 3+, 1m This race is a real curiosity in regards to projecting an anticipated winning trip. We know Sharp Azteca, Americanize and Seymourdini should be flanking leaders while Summer Revolution, Beasley and Mind Your Biscuits gain forward position behind them. Practical Joke, Just Call Kenny, Tom's Ready and Vulcan's Forge will settle and prepare for their runs. But having a handle on the early running doesn't answer your question about who moves at the best, most advantageous time. Practical Joke has improved each time he's turned back from a two turn assignment but will need his career best today in his final start. Sharp Azteca feels a few minutes past midnight after a lilting BC Dirt Mile finish. Seymourdini will have to capitalize on his early promise to prevail in a duel and fend off late runners. Mind Your Biscuits feels like a quality key horse benefiting from a mid-pack stalking position while adding Irad Ortiz with Rosario committed to Practical Joke. A race where no 4 horses will be a shocking superfecta combo.. Best Value: #1 Mind Your Biscuits 6-1 2nd Next Best: #8 Practical Joke 7-2 3rd Exotics Use: #2 Seymourdini 6-1 9th Super Add: #9 Summer Revolution 15-1 10th P5 Grid: 6: 1-3 (A), 2-5 (B), 4-7 (C) 7: 4-5-8-9-10-12 (A), 1-2-3-7-8-11 (B), - (C) 8: 3-4 (A), - (B), 5-6 (C) 9: 7 (A), - (B), 2-3-4-5-10 (C) 10: 1-8 (A), - (B), 2-9-10 (C) Simple (A+B): 4x12x2x1x2 = 192 x .50 = $96 All A's: 2x6x2x1x2 = 48 x .50 = $24 P4 Grid: 7: 4-5-8-9-10-12 (A), 1-2-3-7-8-11 (B), - (C) 8: 3-4 (A), 5-6 (B), 1-7 (C) 9: 7 (A), - (B), 2-3-4-5-10 (C) 10: 1-8 (A), 2 (B), 4-9-10 (C) Simple (A+B): 12x4x1x3 = 144 x .50 = $72 All A's: 6x2x1x3 = $36 ($18 for .50) Good luck! Steve
