Hastings Challenge
For any of you who would like to play a handicapping contest at a smallish track in British Columbia that is not named Kamloops, this Saturday you will have a chance at Hastings Racecourse in the Vancouver area.
This is a one day contest that requires one pick in each of the 9 races and is scored based on the highest WPS totals on the entire race card. I do not believe that there are any caps on payoffs. Here is a link to the contest site: https://www.hastingschallenge.com

Good luck to you too Zippy. So far there are about 640 entrants. Only 9 races with no field larger than 7 runners. My best guess is that to succeed one would need to have picked any price horse that is on the board, since every combination will likely be covered in every race. My plan is to look for aggressive opportunities and either emerge a hero or be way back in the pack. Should be fun either way. I've watched races from Hastings in the past - it is a classic bullring configuration with short stretches and very tight turns.
