Pan's Labyrinth
Saw it tonight- highly recommend. A Grimm's Fairy Tale for grownups. Lush, but very dark.
Oh, it's in Spanish so you have to read it. Unless you speak Spanish. In which case, tell me how good or bad the subtitling was? I do, however, recommend if you first sit next to a drug dealer who is busy running his private business via cell phone in the theater that you change seats before the movie begins, as he will likely continue doing business during the film (we did and he did) and I don't recommend telling him to shut the f*ck up. Though we did overhear this nugget of wisdom, "You don't make money selling; you make money making." Words to live by. However, if you end up sitting next to a wimpy 22-year-old who makes a phone call during the movie, feel free to tell him to shut the f*ck up. We did, and he did.
