Lava Man makes front page of USA Today
Normally, I don't need or want my news accompanied with colorful pie charts, but when Lava Man is in glorious full color on page one, I'll plunk down my seventy-five cents. From claimer to above-the-fold front page horse-- way to go, Lava Man!

i'll be excited about whoever wins--some top-class horses, and can't wait to see who comes out on top.
but i think my grin would be just a bit bigger if lava man is in the front at the wire. perfect end to a perfect season for him. how often do we get to see PERFECTION?? and then, maybe we get to see him try again next year--now wouldn't that be something?? i think they should make a rule--every third colt born gets nadded, regardless of pedigree. hahaha, yeah RIGHT!

my only real beef with usa today is they don't do weekends. i like to curl up with the paper on sundays, and when we travel it's hard to find a good sunday paper. but if you buy a usa today, it's OLD news. luckily the wash post is available in larger cities...and just like old times, the ink comes off on your hands. don't wear white when you read the post!!
