I'll run over to the OTW and bet and then return home and watch on TV.

I'll be in Deerfield Beach Florida in front of TV with my favorite snacks.
Since no one I hang out with can read the DRF or takes handicapping serious for one day, I'd really enjoy being alone. My girlfriend ( and everyone else I know) think I'm weird, but I don't have the patience for the casual fan. Also, I can call in my wagers without the hassle of playing everyone's favorite numbers! As Steve said in his selections for opening night at Churchill, "should be great fun for those of us that wish to ignore our spouses and families...". That captures Oaks & Derby Day for me! I won't even watch it, since I already know who's going to win it.
That was a joke, Hockey, Vol Jack and Da Hoss. |

At a Derby party at Carpool in Herndon, Va. This is only the 2nd Derby Week I have missed since 1995.
