Test for the big, moody filly today.. We were able to rid Lemon and Honey of the large growth on her ovary. She looks terrific and she's been very willing in the morning. She also has been drilled repeatedly breaking from the gate and front-end man Chucky Lopez was enlisted to get her out quickly as well. 5.5f likely too short for her, but we need to get a read on her interest in the afternoon.
There doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong now that would generate the tail-swishing or other signs of not wanting to run. However, the extended period of time she was being asked while the growth was causing discomfort, may have a residual effect on her mentally. Hoping for the best.
