Default AQU/GP/SA Friday Dec. 26

Bankroll built up after not playing much on this continent since the BC. Ready for some coast to coast Boxing Day action.

Aqueduct
Race 1:
#1 Starago: Turf runs in MSW good enough in this. Not bred for the slop and couldn't be any more overland in last. Blinkers on and ready to roll.
#5 Blue Collar Cat: Hasn't had the kick to hold on around one-turn. Two might suit better and this is his easiest to date. Couldn't be confident at a short price, however.

Race 2:
#4 Been Here Before: Primed with the addition of Lasix. Has shown morning speed and expecting that to come through this paceless event.
#1 Coupled Entry: First two-turn try for both of them and this should be what they want.
#3 Say Cin Cin: Closed well late on debut and should improve.
#7 Doukas: Has had his chances but the slow pace will aid this time.

Race 3:
#4 Salutos Amigos: Gave a lot of weight last time so the lbs today is no concern. Prefers the mud but by far the one to beat.
#3 Mewannarose: Likes it fast and at this distance. Should get a solid trip and will be there if good enough.

Race 4:
#9 Silver Day: Runs best around two turns but the complexion of the last wasn't set for him. Enough pace in here to get him rolling late with the bug.
#2 Lucky Lotto: If he handles the surface he'll be a major overlay.
#1 Felons Only: Upstate form is good enough and the inside trip will be beneficial.
#3 Hyman Roth: Sole dirt route was horrendous but you never know with Nevin.
Interesting to see Cruz land on the other Jacobson...

Race 5:
#8 Three Way Ticket: Two dirt races have by far been her best. Mustn't regress on the barn change.
#7 Prize Taker: Tends to get caught wide but the race should flow in a way that allows her to get over with cover. Poor record but always tries.
#2 Wraith: Just does not seem to have the will to win. Did win an 8f 50kMCL on the inner off her form, but they went SLOW that day. Money burner may continue that trend.

Race 6:
#6 Accelebrate: Pace dominated the last and she had no chance from that spot after that start. Cleaner break sees her well in it with positive connection changes.
#8 Enduring Touch: Comes out of the same race and will continue her upward slope.
#5 Golden Starlet: Blinkers did the trick. Now needs to show consistency.
#1 Harlans Six: Twice beaten fav and you'll get a bit of a price this time. Gullo has done well lately.
#9 She's All Even: Hadn't missed a beat in the AM and now drops after missing time off a sluggish work. Not for me.

Race 7:
#9 Doc Almon: 30-1 ML is a ridiculous price. 1st and 2nd (led at 6f marker) for this tag earlier in the year and has beaten some of these foes already. Excuses in his last few. Don't forget him.
#2 Colleen's Sailor: Proven dirt runner and showed two back he can close behind a quick pace. Similar scenario looming here.
#1 Slan Abhaile: Back to form this fall other than the wet tracks which he clearly doesn't like. Just hasn't progressed but this is easier. But, not with Rodriguez.

Race 8:
Uncoupled Jacobson entry completely changes the race...
#6 Lost in Success: Resumes from a long layoff but has run well fresh previously. Working up a storm.
Couldn't be confident on anything here, but I'll also use #4 Irish Whisperer in case she gets loose again.

Race 9:
#3 False Positive: Massive jock switch on the dropdown. 3 good works and ready to upset.
#8 Worbothor: Great second start considering he's not bred for the mud. Fast track gives him his best chance to date.
#9 Prince of the Lake: Rudy FTS hasn't worked as well as the other but that doesn't mean much. This one gets Irad.
#11 Wild Freud: 2nd time for the barn and should continue to improve.
#1 Igotthediscoinme: DiPrima hits well second off the claim and the tag slice improves his chances.

$0.60 Pick Five
Race 1: 1, 5
Race 2: 1, 3, 4, 7
Race 3: 3, 4
Race 4: 1, 2, 3, 9
Race 5: 7, 8
$76.80

$0.60 Early Pick Four
Race 2: 1, 3, 4, 7
Race 3: 3, 4
Race 4: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9
Race 5: 2, 7, 8
$72.00

$0.60 Late Pick Four
Race 6: 1, 5, 6, 8
Race 7: 2, 9
Race 8: 4, 6
Race 9: 1, 3, 8, 9, 11
$48.00

Gulfstream
Race 2:
#7 Fabled Star: Should handle the dirt based on her pedigree and some of her previous works on this track. Don't like the jock change with Prado off mounts today.
#1 Two Pot House: Doesn't need to be special to win at first asking.

Race 3:
#1 Pure of Spirit: Second against the boys at 11f last out. Distance no concern.
#9 Calm Water: Consistent worker for her return. Turf is what she wants.
#6 Place Card: Will see the best of this one at this trip.

Race 4:
#9 Don'tcallmecharley: Has held her own against much tougher. Pace set up should suit.
#4 Sharp Words: Runs best when given a bit of time between races. This is her best distance and the connections have had a great start to the meet.

Race 5:
#8 Principessa Ava: Impressive NA debutant, not disgraced at KEE, and flew home last out behind a tortoise pace. Sheppard always dangerous with these types.
#1 Wait No More: This is a turf filly so ignore the last. Needs to improve on her two wins but there's no reason to believe she can't.
#7 Very Playful: Lanerie won two with this one over the course and distance earlier in the year. Freshening looked needed.
#6 Rubindy: Second behind an impressive one two back but still not completely sold on her turf ability.

Race 7:
#12 Como Luz: Nothing wrong with debut and the second start is where the trainer seems to strike.
#9 Vero's Dream: Last was good enough to win this. Ignore the blinkered tries and she always improves.
#8 Lion Soul: Solid debut when taking action. Needs to be better but drops in class.
#3 Scuba Sue: Continues to plunge but has the best form.

Race 8:
#1 Melville: Looks the best bet of the day.

$1 Early Pick Four
Race 2: 1, 7
Race 3: 1, 6, 9
Race 4: 4, 9
Race 5: 1, 6, 7, 8
$48

Santa Anita
Race 1:
#1 Howdy: Fired up first time blinkers on this dirt course. Repeat of that makes him the one to catch. Favs vulnerable here.

Race 3:
#11 Sacred Temple: Clearly prefers the dirt and expect a better performance back at SA. Not much speed here and should set up well.
#13 Donji: Another that takes to the surface and will get a great stalking trip with the jock upgrade.

Race 4:
#7 Micks Miracle: D'Amato has this FTS ready to roll.
#13 Blue Harbor: Flashed some quick works heading into debut but lost all chance at the start. Should break cleaner from the outside.
Must use the Bafferts and Hollendorfers.

Race 6:
#9 Sam's Sister: 3 for 3 off the turf and will get a favourable pace scenario to roll on by late.
#10 Jojo Warrior: Baf's got a speedster in here already to go with the other fireballs. This one will take back like she did early in her career and come flying late.
#3 Thank You Marylou: Better than her form shows at this level. Looks to get a great trip.
#1 Taris: Lots of speed to contend with and the rail is a hindrance. Has to go and that might bottom her out.

Race 7:
#5 Sawyer's Hill: Feel he's better stalking. Hope he sits right behind #3 and #7 dueling up front and will be tough to beat if he gets first run.
#1 Patriots Rule: Should get a stronger pace than he's gotten in his losses at this level. Best runs have come at this course.
#12 Talco: Great NA debut behind a walking pace and was short coming back on Halloween. This is easier than his last but the post is the concern.
#7 Heart to Heart: Can't see him getting it easy like he has recently. Can hang around for minor money.

Race 8:
#2 Chitu will go straight to the front and I can't see much else going with it. He's been primed for this while this is an afterthought for #8 Shared Belief. Have to think Baffert will be targeting him again somehow. Those are the only likely two and I'll go with the price and clean trip.

Crapshoot in the nightcap. Must go deep.

$1 Late Pick Four:
Race 6: 3, 9, 10
Race 7: 1, 5, 12
Race 8: 2, 8
Race 9: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12
$108

Good luck!
