I have a hard time believing Take Charge Brandi ran as slow as everyone believes.
I don't follow Beyers, but she just ran a couple of TimeformUS numbers in the 100s before this race. Why wouldn't she run another 100? In addition, the field was strung out which usually indicates that the winner did somewhat okay.

Not one filly that Take Charge Brandi beat in BC J-Filly, DeD Princess & Starlet has won subsequently. 23/0-3-4 combined. 7 yet to run back.
(Note that 4 of those starts did come back against Take Charge Brandi.. Majestic Presence 3rd at DeD, 4th at LRC, Danette 6th at DeD, Feathered 2nd at LRC.)
