#5 Manchurian High (12-1) - Is in career form and is an off the pace threat at will be a good price. 4TH
#1 Mshawish (7-2) - Candidate for Horse of the Meet with a win here, but a slight concern creeps in after drifting out in latest. WON $4.80

#4 Lea (9-5) - Hard not to start with the defending champion after a solid effort in Hal's Hope despite eventful trip. 2ND
#1 Constitution (7-2) - Reigning Florida Derby winner loves this surface and looks to be the controlling speed. WON $7.60
#8 Protonico (6-1) - Hard knocker will keep grinding and if the top 2 blink, he'll be ready to pick them up.

#5 Little Jerry (12-1) - Have a feeling that they'll ignore him on the front end and Maldonado might be able to lull them to sleep.
#8 Dynamic Sky (3-1) - The extra real estate will definitely help the cause.
#1 Finnegans Wake (5-2) - Has really improved since switching the the west coast, but this time you'll have to take a short price. WON $5.80
#9 Power Foot (8-1) - Comes in off a confidence booster win and the distance will not be a problem. 3RD

R8 - G2 San Antonio Invitational

#5 Shared Belief (7-5) - Only blemish was more than excusable in BC Classic and absolutely brings it every time. He's a single in my book until someone beats him fair and square. WON $4.00
#8 California Chrome (6-5) - Nice to see Derby winner still in training, but he draws a difficult assignment to start the year. Hoping he goes off the favorite. 2ND
#9 Alfa Bird (30-1) - Baze will be winging it on the front end and hopes top two forget about him until it's too late.
#7 Bronzo (Chi) (20-1) - If for some reason they get silly up front, expect him to come with a serious late run. 4TH
