They have a new machine in Australia that costs a little over $1 million that can automatically test for 8,000 different drugs. Right now we can only test for a small number of drugs and the person testing has to specify which drugs to test for. This new equipment automatically tests for everything. They are going to start using it in Australia within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we can get this equipment in the US. If it works as advertised, it could put all the cheaters out of business.

They don't need one at every track. One lab usually does the testing for multiple tracks. So if just one or two of the US labs bought a machine, that could cover every single track (although some smaller tracks may not be interested if the testing is expensive).
