Why the focus on the NFL and not the justice system?

Had the courts done their job and sentenced the culprits to several years in prison the NFL suspensions or lack of them would be moot.

The much bigger picture of course involves all of society who are forced to deal with abusers on their own because the justice system is not handing out justice. It's only pitching second, third and fourth chances. Yet the National Organization of Women and many others call for the NFL commissioner to resign.

Because he was not caught on tape.

But found guilty in court. So much for zero tolerance.

And looks like rg3 just broke his ankle.

Edit-dislocation.

The Court handed Michael Vick a month shy of 2 years for fighting dogs.

Meanwhile Ray Rice gets no time for fighting his wife.

Hey NFL teams, "due process" is a legal thing to keep people from being unlawfully jailed. It doesn't keep you from disciplining employees!!!!!

Wouldn't it be nice if "due process" meant, if you knock a woman out, and it's all on video, you go to jail!!!!!!!

This really demonstrates a lack of understanding of legal issues and what Court's are trying to accomplish.

>>>RB Adrian Peterson pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor reckless assault Tuesday, Nov. 4 in Montgomery County in Texas. The plea didn't include reference to family violence or violence against a minor. Under the agreement accepted by the judge, Peterson will pay a $2,000 fine, be put on probation and perform 80 hours of community service. He will not serve any jail time. It's unknown if the NFL will suspend Peterson in addition to the eight games he's served.<<<

Is there a chance in hell, given the negative publicity heaped upon the NFL by the hand of their own stupidity, that Goodell reinstates him from the Exempt List and clears him to play this year?

With the right public relations team he can flip the script and make Goodell look like a plantation owner.

So much for faith in the justice system. The fact you can get caught knocking a woman out and dragging her unconscious body on video and then plea bargain out of a domestic violence charge is disgusting!!

Yea we're real tough on crime.
