![]() Does anyone here know the difference between regular general admission and clubhouse general admission for Belmont Park? I've read the description on the website so have a vague idea - but not really sure. We have clubhouse GA.
Will it be less crowded? Are bench seats really available? Is the regular general admission area better anyway? Will I be sorry that I don't have a reserved seat? Just looking for some info and some advice for the big day on Saturday. This is my first time at Belmont. Thanks.

![]() Clubhouse also gives you a better view of the Paddock.
If you want a view, you may have to be prepared to find a place to stand over an hour before the big race. Otherwise, find a spot in front of a TV screen closer to the start of the race; they're everywhere, and don't stress it. If AP pulls it off, just being in the energy of the crowd will be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I agree about putting wagers in early; the lines are CRAZY close to the race.

![]() I know that the one thing you will never forget is the sound. You can always view it again on TV, but you'll never experience anything like the sound.
that is why we go there. |

Absolutely...if you're not in a place to be able to see the finish, then lose yourself in the sound.....wherever you are. There's nothing like it. |

![]() It will be unbelievably crowded wherever you go. If you have any idea of getting a bench, they'll be thousands waiting to get in at 9AM. Will run like banshees to grab their bench. These are pro's. They know exactly where they are going and have serious gate speed.
If you want anything to eat or drink, get it early. If you want to bet anything, do it early. Expect the unexpected. Everything you do will be a chore. One thing of note, don't judge Belmont by this day. This is unlike any other day. Go there some other Saturday and it will be a different world. You'll be able to roam all over the place and will have a great time. Enjoy your day, whatever happens. Hopefully you'll be there for something you can tell your grandchildren about |

![]() Oh! Also, earlier in the day before it gets too crazy, go all the way up to the top level and take a moment to stand at the entrance to the reserved seats and just look at the track.

![]() You'll live. It's not a day at the races, it's an event.
It will be a PITA, but you can be part of history. |
