Default Let's Play Sunday night Mountaineer!

I know speed didn't play well last night at the Mountain so I'll try to play accordingly... I think Parker is going to get the 7, Unbridled Wisdom, to get up there and take this at the end - horse did well in his first race, a 6f where he finished evenly only 3 lengths behind the winner then did a route. Returning to a sprint might make the difference. Like Mermaid said, add in the 6, Prophet Man, and you've got a nice exacta.

Good luck.

T3B - where you at, Big Man?

I'm going to need some help here tonight folks... any input? (other than, "don't play" )

Tonight is going to be a "Lucky" night... going with Lucky Zone to win in the 2nd with Lucky Promise for place... follow that with the 6 and 8 for the bottom of the tri - we'll see how lucky we get.

Going with #5 in race 3 - Whitney's got a good horse here... follow that with the 1,4,8 on the bottom of the exacta.

Chelle just got back on the board and i would've talked you off the horse in the 3rd race.We needed that horse in the 2nd leg of the double 2 starts prior when we had the 50-1 shot win the 1st race. She had 2 on the field turning for home and folded. She folded her last start also. She can't finish even with grat trips.I'm playing the late double 5,8,9/4,6,8.Good luck.Mark.

Thanks Mark... I'm still playing tonight but not posting

I wouldn't have picked the winner of the 3rd race unless I went solely on name or post position - although getting Parker/Baird at 35-1 is awesome...

In the 2nd race, I did like The Emster, I've seen that horse run in California and I knew she was good but thought she might need a race here...

Oh well, I'm still at it and will look at the late DD... thanks for your input, as always - hope all is well with the family and job - last I heard, you were slammed at work, things still going that well?

Hope your holidays are happy, I know mine will be

Kev, I see why you like TBD so much... that track is awesome! I hit a few nice ones yesterday... I like a track where you can eliminate so many runners and you're left with only 4 or 5 horses to pick from... I look forward to your analysis as the meet goes on...

All hail T3B!

Oh yeah, all hail Mermaid as well!

Yeah, I'm not too fond of that jock.... I liked his horse but I could hear your words echoing in my mind, "Ferrer off" so I didn't put him in my exotics - of course now I hear Oracle and all the other DTers that say, "bet the horse, not the jock"... too many voices in my head, I think I'm I'm going crazy

Kev, how long does it usually take you before you feel comfortable at Tampa? Do you go a week or two before you feel comfortable or does it take longer?

Can't wait to see you when you get on a roll there... gonna be lots of fun!

Hope it doesn't take long really. Took tons of notes yesterday and spent about 2 hours this morning transfering them to my notebook. Just wanna watch for another week or 2 until I start seeing some horses that will be betbacks.

I feel tons more comfortable on the grass than the dirt....comfortable enough really to post some strong plays if they arise.

Still 93 racing days left...so plenty of time to make money.

Working on my patience this meet.

That is true, you seem to be some sort of "idiot savant" (J/K ) when it comes to the turf races, not sure how you do it but you know that surface like the back of your hand... what do you think your win/ITM % is at Tampa for the turf races? Gotta be something like 50/80% - right?

What's going on at Mountaineer? A "Tote Board problem"? How does this happen? How can they not know how much $$$ was bet on each horse? This is sad

Derby dont let him fool you. He just rolls two dice and whatever it comes up that what he give out. Why he never bets on the 1 horse or any horse higher then 12 jk kev its funny how we are both complete opposite. If only we could comine our minds....we'd have two brain cells swimming in a pool of liquor...
