Swamp draining
Congressman Chaka Fattah and Associates Charged with Participating in Racketeering Conspiracy
A member of Congress and four of his associates were indicted today for their roles in a racketeering conspiracy involving several schemes that were intended to further the political and financial interests of the defendants and others by, among other tactics, misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars of federal, charitable and campaign funds. http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/congre...ing-conspiracy “Congressman Fattah has been a tireless and effective advocate for America’s hard-working families across more than 20 years of distinguished service in the House,” said the former self-proclaimed swamp drainer. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/0...gn-120775.html Fattah had garnered attention for demanding that Congress expunge the impeachment proceedings of Bill Clinton. Later, he and Jesse Jackson, Jr. (now doing time) joined on H. Res 635 to impeach George W. Bush. Fattah’s office confirmed he has agreed to give up his leadership post on the Appropriations Committee, where he is the top Democrat overseeing criminal justice and science spending. He will be replaced by Mike Honda, D-Calif., who is currently the subject of an ethics probe. http://blogs.rollcall.com/hill-blott...ng-mike-honda/ Bahahahahaha!
