Despite just one winner in the sequence paying over $10, the SAR double carryover paid a handsome $74k Wednesday. As noted going in, the sheer breadth of the multiples involved in the sequence and superfluous coverage it generates, guaranteed that the payoff would be sizable. After a solid start to the series, the top tabs in the 8th-10th all settled for 2nd's including Stonetastic who ran stoutly in her 4yo debut but could turn back Unbridled Forever. hey boss, how can 2 hosses be scratched in the steeple ? what are they waiting for a better spot ? i mean like these guys run 2 or 3 times a year. For $125K they can only get 6 ?
