The Legend
Archwarrior, a highly-touted juvenile of 2012, as well as stakes winners Rattlesnake Bridge and Doctor Chit have been retired from racing and will stand their inaugural seasons at Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds in Ocala, Fla.
Archwarrior, a 3-year-old Arch colt, will stand his first season for $3,000. His debut was greatly anticipated, and he delivered with a 3 ˝-length win at Saratoga. However, he finished fourth in the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes in his subsequent start and never raced again. He retired with earnings of $68,000, running for owner Alto Racing and trainer Todd Pletcher. Surely he desires a shot to be a stallion... You never know |

Had to resurrect this zombie thread to point out Archwarrior had 5 mares visit his court last season. I think he's been relocated to New Mexico and is private.
Also worth noting that The Green Monkey had 1 mare (registered, at least). He's still in FL and stood for $5k last season. http://jockeyclub.com/default.asp?se...RMB&letter=all |
