Default Keeneland Breeders' Cup Friday Oct. 30

Race 1:
#3 Bump Start: Slow to start when well overmatched last out. Race shape looks to suit.
#1 Jasizzle: Ignore the turf tries and the form fits.
#5 Pablo Del Monte
#7 Candip

Race 2:
#2 Uncontrolled: Demolished them in her debut and then bled after a wide trip routing. Lacked stamina when returning and has had two poor starts on the rail since. This is her home track and she looks to get a great inside trip.
#5 Titanium: Been a different filly sprinting since flipping the blinkers on and needed her last. Moquett having a poor meet, however.
#9 Smooth Caramel
#7 Chanteline

Race 3:
#3 Praetereo: Old-timer didn't handle the bullring that well but has worked well over this surface.
#5 Storm Advisory is SCR...
#6 Texas Two Step
#7 Allied Air Raid

Race 4:
#2 Tale of Life: Suspecting he bled in the G1 which is why he's over here now, but his two races prior to that, a seven length romp and a 2nd to New Bay, tower over his foes' form. DQ'ed in NA debut but he was completely boxed in and much the best that day. Stuck on the complete wrong part of the track at Belmont and expecting to see his real ability here.
#11 Wayward Kitten
#9 Closing Bell
#12 Paid Admission

Race 5:
#11 Eagle is SCR...
#5 Hoppertunity: This is an easier task, but he's still put himself in positions to win and failed. Smith is around...is Baff just giving Victor a ride around the track?
#6 Protonico
#3 Race Day

Race 6:
#6 Birchwood: Don't necessarily agree that he'll have distance limitations as he strode out well in the G2 win and this is only 1f more. Squeezed out of a run at Goodwood and lost to two of the top 2yos in Europe last out. Price looks good.
#8 Airoforce: 3 wide without cover the trip and still romped. Looks the best of the home contingent.
#11 Hollywood Don: Impressive in both victories and ran well enough on the dirt.
#14 Hit It a Bomb: I was put off by the 14 hole in the BC Mile last year, but I just can't see this race shaping up in a similar fashion. Tough draw.
Feel #4 has a bit more to show and #5 is a longshot chance underneath with a clean trip. Tough race to start the BCs.

Race 7:
#5 Lea: Nothing wrong with the Woodbine run and if I remember correctly he didn't look so great on track at the Spa. 8-1 ML is a ridiculous price.
#3 Liam's Map: The extra 8-9 lbs from his last two shouldn't be undervalued.
#6 Street Strategy: Always on the up. Unbeaten at 8f and Morse can ready them for a big one.
#1 Red Vine: Never out of the money in the dirt, and only twice in his career.
Thought #7 had a chance to upset, but not keen on the fact he's shipped back and forth after the Shadwell Mile SCR.

Race 8:
#3 Alice Springs: Shaped up well when behind Illuminate two back. Expensive yearling is bred for longer than this mile, but has shown enough at 7f to be effective at this distance. Not disgraced in top company.
#9 Nemoralia: Troubled debut was followed up with a second to eventual G1/G2 winner Ballydoyle. Won in hand in her two subsequent starts before a strong NA debut in the slop. May be forgotten about. Euros haven't been as strong in this race as they have in the male version but they sure look tough this year.
#4 Catch a Glimpse: With the blinkers off the Ward horse, I wouldn't be surprised to see her lead early and possibly just keep going.
#13 Mirage: Didn't beat much but was very impressive in her debut win on a wet day. Had to have some ability as Spencer turned up to ride a cheap maiden at Brighton and promptly sold for big money a couple of weeks later. Don't think the trouble really affected her finish at SA but is more than eligible to improve off that.

Race 9:
#8 Curalina: Showed quite some potential to start her 3yo season. Grinded out a victory (I think she would have won without the interference) before finding 10f too far. They ran a quick time last out and with nearly a month between the Alabama and her lone work I don't think she was fully cranked. May even prefer the two-turns.
#2 Frivolous: Better than ever and has had some excuses in her poor runs this year. Already won once third off the layoff this year and a repeat of that gives her big claims at a huge price to become the first 5yo or older since '98 to take this race.
#4 Stopchargingmaria: Don't think she enjoyed the front end last time. Somewhat of a distance specialist, runs well fresh, and is very consistent. The problem is that she hasn't ever really run fast enough to date.
#1 I'm a Chatterbox: Always runs her race and should be close as usual.

Race 10:
#14 Zambian Dream: Showed he can handle the dirt and the Chilean form isn't bad. Filly that he finished ahead of in October came to the Spa, won a G2, and is 8-1 ML in the F&M Turf.
