Default 10/22: Keeneland (G2 Raven Run; 5th-10th)

KEENELAND

POST-SCRATCHES

5th: MSW, 2yo-F, 7f (P6, P3, DD)

After the 33-1 Forty Acres Wednesday in the MCLM, could McKeever have another live firster in #5 Harkness (12-1)? Harlan's Holiday filly is the first foal out of talented $700k+ winner Ariana D who was a multiple stakes winner (MSW) that was graded stakes placed (GSP) 7 times including a narrow loss to Musical Romance in the 2012 Madison (G1). 7f a tough first out assignment, but sharp worktab at KEE, including 1:00 5f gate bullet (1/34), says ready. The ones that have started don't look like they have front end speed, so her zip appeals even though short price types have dominated these Maiden Specials..

Keith Bourgeois has done well at the meet with limited starters (5/1-2-0) and #6 She'sagraciouslady looks ready for a good first start of series of strong drills cross state. Filly is by hot young sire Gemologist and out of Lukas-trained Grace Happens who had talent.. Keep an eye on Pat Huffman's first time starter #3 Miss Spot On for next out as Huffman is terrific after his runners get a start in (4 for 9, 7 ITM)..

Best Value: #5 Harkness 12-1 4th
Next Best: #11 Tequilita 2-1 WON ($4.40)
Exotics Use: #7 Make Amends 4-1 2nd
Super Add: #6 She'sagraciouslady 12-1 6th

6th: MSW, 2yo-F, 8.5f-T (P5, P3, DD)

Best Value: #4 La Manta Gris 6-1 2nd
Next Best: #5 Naifah 8-5 3rd
Exotics Use: #10 Celtic Gold 8-1 11th
Super Add: #12 Kitten Squared 20-1 10th

7th: ALW/N1X, 3+, 9f (P4, P3, DD)

Most Likely: #7 December Seven 3-1 3rd
Next Best: #6 Flash Trading 4-1 4th
Best Value: #8 Starship Zeus 6-1 5th
Exotics Use: #2 Seeking Blame 4-1 7th

8th: OC/N3X, 3+, 8.5f (P3, DD)

Fascinating group of hard hitters with 4 making first starts in new barns. Tale of Life SCR'D wins with anything close to his spring meet effort at the same trip. Grande Shores is among the most accomplished, but 8.5f is his outer limit. Raagheb goes 1st/CLM for MNR outfit that has gaudy stats with new stock..

SCR of Tale of Life jumbles this event badly..

Best Value: #9 Financial Modeling 8-1 2nd
Next Best: #7 Hesinfront 9-2 3rd
Exotics Use: #8 Raagheb 12-1 8th
Super Add: #3 Catholic Cowboy 3-1 4th

9th: 18th Raven Run (G2), 3yo-F, 7f (DD)

Best Value: #8 Curlin's Approval 8-1 4th
Next Best: #12 Lightstream 3-1 WON ($6.80)
Exotics Use: #4 Lucy N Ethel 9-2 12th
Super Add: #10 Sophia's Song 5-1 9th

10th: ALW/N2X, F&M-3+, 5.5f-T (Hi-5)

Best Value: #5 Titfortat 12-1 6th
Next Best: #3 Casual Cocktail 3-1 5th
Exotics Use: #1 Orient Harbor 5-1 3rd
Super Add: #10 Equation Late SCR
Hi-5 Play: #7 Recognition 20-1 2nd
