In the past my son and I used to visit Charles Town. When he got frustrated he would
call it "Clown Town". An appropriate song for Saturday would have been "Send in the
Clowns". For the first time this year the group collected no points as no one could
show a profit on a puzzling day. Cruzan and Ron both collected some cash in race
12 but couldn't get back to even and NJS and Joly caught some scratches so
there's the highlights of the day. Following are the unofficial results pending any
objections. And no, you cannot object to Joly B's choice of Charles Town. Actually
a year ago we had a OK day there led by the Ruffaroo. See you all next week
wherever the Don takes us. As Plen said it was good to see El Prado and Cruzan
back again. Now if Willie can be located double digit participation might be a
regular occurence.
