McCracken should be 20/1.

People are just betting Patch (looks like he's currently 14-1) because he has one eye.

42-1 on J Boys Echo is the overlay of the group

I agree, and I like Practical Joke at 30-1, too.

Were all screwed as I like that 42/1 as well. His race 2 back is just as good as anyone in this field.

And he had a some excuses in his last race:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oUHCFjpdVo

Bumped side to side like a ping pong ball for the first 5 secs, then when he makes his move on the backstetch (about 1:00 on the replay), he's taken up twice and has to re-gun the engines.

45-1?

I like feel good stories but how is Patch 13/1??

We need 2 or 3 feel good story horses in each Derby. Public bets on the story and we get better odds on horses who can actually hit the board

We're definitely moving the line. It's gone from 42-1 up to 46-1!

Does the public bet this early on hunch bets? And do they make $980,000 of feel-good bets?! (as of 4:30ish). I'm surprised that so many people would even know that Patch is blind in one eye, before they hear it during the Derby broadcast.

With a 3-race resume', we don't really know how good Patch is yet. Someone must think he's pretty good.

as stated earlier:

the horse who is the fastest belongs to Todd

here are the times of the recent 1-1/8 th mile stakes winners.

1:50.91
1:51.16
1:49.77

1:47.47
1:50.39
1:48.93

The one that says 1:47.47 belongs to Todd.

This is Todd's year.
