At sloppy Belmont on Saturday half of the players "got it" and half didn't. For the first time in
a while all four point slots were filled. Cruzan takes the super spot with a win bet on Monte
Man in the 2nd. A good pick at 12-1 ML but with all the scratches he was bet down to 5/2.
Ruffian takes third with a $25 win bet on Nobody Move in the 9th. No scratches this time
but a 15-1 ML turned into only a 4-1 winner. Joly B "Quinelled" the 4th for $8.40 and nails
the number two spot. Hey Joly. Do you remember when Santa Anita had a place 9? I was
trying to think of "lost" wagers and that and the Twin Trifecta came to mind. The winner and
Belmont Champion for May 13th was our awesome point scorer Plenilune. She also
played Nobody Move in the 9th and the $50 win ticket returned $260 and gave Plen an
easy win. Congrats on the win Jane and good luck on a repeat at Pimlico. Following are
