![]() Just finished scanning the card for Belmont Stakes day, and it's difficult to imagine a better undercard - one graded stakes race after another, almost all with full and competitive fields.
I did want to raise the question of how many races we all want to include in our contest. The quality drops off after Race 11, the Belmont Stakes. Not only that, but the race day is very long, starting at 11:35 AM. Post time for race 12 is 7:20 PM and race 13 is not until 7:50 PM. NYRA has probably included the final two races to keep everyone from leaving at the same time, but do we want to include the two final races in our contest card? My feeling is that I will have had more than enough after the Belmont has been completed. What is everyone else's preference? |

![]() Why no late pick 5 though. I guess the takeout is too low.

![]() I think it's a good idea to cap our day with the Belmont and hope Wayward Kitten doesn't win the 12th.

![]() I also vote end the card with the Belmont. There with be a plethora of kittens running the rest of the year to satisfy the most fervent "horse with a cat name lover".

![]() I am certainly happy with capping it at 11 races. Thank you!
