Default Del Mar Breeders' Cup Friday November 3rd

Race 1:
#5 Americanize: Game win last out over a good 3yo and ready to step forward again. Looks to get a perfect stalking trip.
#7 Loose On the Town: Stumbled badly at the start in his last 7f try but was a winner on debut at 6.5f. Got a nice breeze over the surface on Wednesday.
#1 Silent Bird is SCR...

Race 2:
#13 Conquest Sabre Cat is SCR...
#4 Temple Keys: Something amiss when last seen in May but comes in off five straight steady 5f works.
#2 Fritz Johansen: Should improve second off the short break but just seems a bit of a hanger.
#6 Soglio
#8 All Star Parade

Race 3:
#1 Prime Issue: Loves this course and has a better form line vs Americanize than the second pick.
#2 City of Light: Should sit right on the flank of the rail runner and pounce late.
#9 Chief of Staff: Not been the same in his last two, but his is a huge overlay based on previous races and has a great record at DMR. Worth another shot.
#11 Sir Samson

Race 4:
Tough race. Using 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9.

Race 5:
#7 Hard Aces: Has class, ability, and stamina. Hard to see him losing this.
#1 Archanova: Given a nice prep for this when inexplicably caught 4-deep around the track last out. Does need to improve, however.
#3 Destin

Race 6:
North American runners have a strong record in this race but the fillies in Europe this year look top class.
#10 September: Beat the second pick on debut (both similar odds) but didn't continue that form in the summer. Back to her best when losing first run and finishing ahead of Magical last out at Newmarket. May want a bit more distance come next season, but she's a Royal Ascot winner on good-to-firm grass.
#2 Happily: Dual G1 winner, including a win vs the boys at the distance and around a bend last time out. Concerned that she has never run on firm ground and missed a run on Oct 13th with a temperature and dirty scope, but reportedly didn't miss any important work.
#1 Best Performance: Wide most of the way, particularly on the final turn, and thought she ran best of all in the Miss Grillo. Adds Lasix as Clement hopes to break his BC duck.
#7 Capla Temptress: Showed an impressive turn of foot to run a 22 and change final quarter in her debut this side of the pond. Beaten by #13 two back (who followed-up by winning a G2) but I prefer this one going a two-turn mile.

Race 7:
#5 Awesome Slew: Think this is the forgotten one in the field. He has been recently beaten by the nation's top sprinters and although he's been behind the favs in here this season, he actually had good two-turn form as a 3yo for Plesa, including a devastating win the Smarty Jones from post 14. Primed to upset off of a confidence building win.
#8 Accelerate: 3rd in this last year and has improved this season. Loves the track and should get a nice stalking trip.
#3 Sharp Azteca: Even though he won at MTH by 7 I'm still a bit skeptical on his ability around two-turns. And, with the recent Navarro unfoldings, have to wonder what else is happening behind the scenes.
#6 Mor Spirit: Reportedly wasn't his usual self when he returned back to training, but has since put in 5 straight 6f works. Has to come off the shelf firing.
#9 a good price to include underneath.

Race 8:
#7 James Garfield: Frankie said after riding him at York that they should target this race, and in the meanwhile he set a 2yo track record at 6f when staying on strongly to win a G2 in his latest. A mile should be no problem and the trainer knows the track---he worked previously with Simon Callaghan.
#12 Hemp Hemp Hurray: Just run down at the wire when routing for the first time and will improve stamina off that run. Doesn't look to be much pace here and that should suit.
#6 Masar: Beaten twice, by classy fillies running in Race 6.
#9 Encumbered: Winner twice over the course and distance and the price will be right.
#3 dangerous at big odds if he can find his August form...#5 has lots of stamina on the bottom but the trainer didn't seem overly confident about him getting the mile.

Race 9:
#5 Elate: Has really progressed as the year went along and will be extremely dangerous if she repeats either of her last two.
#7 Paradise Woods: The track was slow last out, but the 2yo boys actually went faster. Regardless of that, on her day she has tons of ability and may be left alone up front again.
#2 Stellar Wind: Classy mare but concerned about the layoff and missed work between Oct 1-14.
#4 Abel Tasman: Hasn't really improved since earlier in the year and who knows what kind of ride she'll get this time.

Race 10:
