Default Anita entries for opening day

http://www.santaanita.com/racing/overnights/061226.pdf

Blows my mind that Hyperbaric is going in the Malibu(instead of the turf stakes.)

He has one in the 5th too...................O.K.,I will say this one time, and one time only. This f'n roach...Zucker....and his owner.....Grether......have got one horse (and only one horse) running on opening day. This is the M.O. of these two. They put a 1st timer in with horses like the Baffert etc.(that has already run big.)The Sadler horse. The O'NEIL horse etc.etc.....this is the way they ring the bell at like 40-1.So,be careful, and include that horse.Just like the g d stats say...this guy hits at 6% 1st out,but you make money with that g d 6%(if you keep playing him.)Maybe the horse does nothing, but this is the situation these 2 rats are lookin' for.

1) Dixie will SURELY know how many lengths Latent Heat will win by

2) Scuds....unbelievable 500k purchase from Little Red Feather. Filly's mother hasn't thrown a whole hell of a lot, and they jump in for 500k....quite interesting

Scuds, you see the BS on that PDF.

"Budda is the leading son at stud of leading sire Unbridled's Song."

A) Does he even have a stakes winner yet?

B) Let alone a multiple winner?

unless I missed it,
NO to (A) at least.

that Lenaro horse ran 3rd in the Debutante.
thats it as far as I know.

I think he will do well, but its way too early.
leading USong at stud?
dont know what measurement they are using.

Eurosilver will be a very nice stallion for USong.

Look at that PDF and at some of the costs. While I am all about people taking advantage of their success, there is some SHADY stuff in there, at least from this rookie owner's perspective....

1) Calder Sales Expenses = $20k?
2) LRF Finance charges = Sales agent fee = 22,750?
3) Sales Commission = $150k

KICK THAT around and THEN when the horse wins, you have the standard trainer/jock fee, then you get hit with a 5% partner fee and a 2% BARN FEE? What the hell is a barn fee?

If I remember correctly, I think they went partners with Jess Jackson on that horse. That is why they were willing to spend so much. They had a partner.

I can't figure out how this horse can be entered in a race. She doesn't show a work the last 6 weeks. Her last published work was on Nov 4th.

Same goes for Buck Tuddy Buck.Poor guy gets the 1 post though(and a rider who has no clue how to ride the hill.)If he can't get the horse clear by the time they come down to the apron, then there's no shot.Horse loves to accelerate coming off the turn in turf sprints.Damn near ran a horse over at G GATE.

Buck Tuddy Buck and Rush Rush come to the wire in a battle of the hill lovers.Any other result is unsatisfactory.

I saw Divide and Conquer as a yearling and really liked him.

Gary Stevens is out as the advisor of LRF correct?

Yeah Stevens bailed and didn't comment on it. My guess is because of the ridiculous fees involved and the perceived human-jacking that is taking place. If I am wrong about this, I will apologize but those fees look absolutely out of line, and to me it look like LRF is padding the pockets with all these commissions

"Santa Anita, which opens its winter/spring meeting on Tuesday, will for the first time be offering an early and late Pick Four each racing day. The early Pick Four will be on the first four races and the late Pick Four will consist of the final four races on the card."
