what is a beyer number? how does one come up with a beyer number/ what goes into a horse running around the track and then some company coming up with a byer for him or her? is it based on speed? or something else and heres a crazy one can a horse running 3rd have a higherbeyer number then the winner of the same race? I only ask that because what if the 3rd place horse ran say 65 feet more then the winner and got beat 2 lengths could it be possible that his number could be higher because of circumstances? ok fire away about being a dummy Last edited by ontheoutside : 02-23-2018 at 04:43 PM. ![]() No, a horse running third cannot have a higher Beyer number.
It can have a better Thorograph or Ragozin number that reflects added distance and race factors. Of course you pay a premium to buy those numbers. |
