![]() I don't think Shug has had a FG starter since he began training for the Phipps family. As far as I can recall, his last runner at FG was in a $100k 3yo turf stakes there in 1985 or 1986.

![]() I was a Thoroughbred racing infant in '85, I still am. I like Revved Up in here, but I always thought he was a good horse.

![]() Congrats to Doug for clocking the hell out of this race. In his Twin Spires video he liked the 2 and 9, with the 4 and 8 to hit the board. Hated the 1.

![]() Just watched the Louisiana Derby for the first time this morning and was left in AWE by how Noble Indy won that race. The two horses that filled out the tri both passed him in the stretch (Givemeaminit seemed to pass him or at least look him in the eyes as well) and looked to be moving right on by just to toss anchors and allow Noble Indy to battle back along the rail.
Game win for sure. Now, we're left with 41 days to decipher this one. Total hang job by My Boy Jack & Lone Sailor?? Or tremendous resilience from Noble Indy?? Or a mixture of both? These next (final) round of preps will be very telling, obviously. Absolutely looking forward to the next month and change!
