I haven't been to Deluca's yet, but have it on my list of places to go. New York pizza the best, in my opinion. Haven't had a really good pizza or sub since 1967 when I completed my military duty and left the Buffalo/Niagara area. Never heard of Squeezebox, but I'll look for that too.

Oaklawn...I have got to get there one of these days, maybe this is the year.
My Dad is 91 now and everytime I visit, same question every time, "Billy, you still bettin' on them horses? and I will tell him "Yeah Dad, a little (I lie) and he will go off on his story about Oaklawn and betting on all of AJ Foyts horses and netting a couple of hundred dollars. Ive heard this story dozens of times if not more.
I always smile and encourage him to tell his story, this story, connecting me with my Dad while he lives out the last of his days. I always smile....and tell him "Dad, you really slayed them that day didn't you" and he usually replies "Yes, yes I did!"

I love this sport

Was one of the horses your Dad was talking about Rare Brick? Can't remember any of the others that AJ raced at Oaklawn, but for some reason I remember that one. Now don't ask me what I did last week.

Cold beer, loud music, was enjoyable.
Oaklawn is still a bear to handicap.
Onward!
