![]() The Fair Grounds was a little yielding on the Saturday scores. A little but not much. So far this
year there haven't been too many big scores but two players found a few and filled two slots on the points board. Cal828 hit a winning trifecta but just fell short of profitability. The best bet of the day was registered by NJ Stinks who earlier stated, "Just assume I lost unless I tell you different" and unfortunately he was right on the money and while he failed to collect he was correct (along with most of us). Joly B takes the place spot with a two timer 50 cent Pick 4 worth $166+ and a profit of $70+. We had to wait until the 12th race to see if Joly would carry the day at the Fair Grounds and his singles finished one two. War of Will got the win over Country Time and it likely cost Roamin the win over JB. Although Joly, Roamin and Cruzan all made runs at the leaderboard it was Plenilune who rode the rail and bested the colts. Plenilune played Compass Zone to win in the 8th race and the Hard Spun gelding carried Plen to the winners circle with a mutuel of $7.20 and a $180 total. Congrats on the win Plenilune, you were the most "zoned in" on a Louisiana afternoon. Following are the unofficial results. Please double check your scores cause I had to do em twice when my brain cramped and I shut down my computer without saving. Grrrrrrrr. See ya'll next week at the venue of Don's choosing. WIN...
