AQUEDUCT
POST-SCRATCHES 4th: MSW, 2yo, 6f (P3, DD) Pletcher sends 5-2 second choice Obsessed out first time for Barry Schwartz, but he's a More Than Ready and it's a really turfy female family (featuring Dublino).. Pace may be a little more contested here than it shows on paper, so she and Benji could impact with an "A" effort. Thanks Steve. That 4th Race is really tough and I’ll probably just be watching. Hemlock looks like the horse to beat but all 4 first timers that look like they could win it, including the #2 Ikeisgreat, who is a half to Vertrazzo - a horse who won by 14 lengths in her first race, has 6 allowance wins, and has never finished out of the money in 13 career starts. And obviously Munnings has had some success with 2YOs.
Anyway, good luck to Carlisle Belle. I hope she runs well today for you. |

Nice finish there for Carlisle Belle! I’m regretting buying into the hype that Tony Black put out there.

And Tony called it after he said how well she’s been doing. Mornings don’t always fortell how they run when the gate breaks. Turn the page..

Billy.. Moses..
THX! Came hard and through horses yesterday, closing on a track where few made up ground. Nice work by Benji too to get over to the rail and save ground. Really proud of the home bred mare. Modestly talented and small in stature, goes all out mornings and afternoons and is a pleasure to be around at the barn. Tops $100k in earnings ($112,170) with the placing and is now 21/2-2-3-6 for her career running nearly every month for 2 years.
