Consider this a Charlie Hough knuckleball . . . in that when I said Churchill, I had only one cup of coffee in my veins. Then I woke up and said . . . WHAT are you thinking!!! So we will make it easy on all of us over the holiday weekend with a 8 race card at Del Mar. Let me rephrase that so there are no questions, we are only playing Races 1 - 8, ending with the Hollywood Derby . . . much better than the CD 2YO headache card.
Please have all wagers and points picks in by first post of 3:00 PM ET. It already looks like some of the turf races are moved to dirt. Hmmmm? GA'luk to all and hopefully your body has cleared out all the tryptophan by the time you start handicapping.

This is my effort to do with Don's "Charlie Hough knuckleball" what Reggie Jackson did to a Charlie Hough pitch in the 8th inning of game 6 of the 1977 World Series. Do any of you remember that performance by Mr. October? Of course, Del Mar could just as easily cross me up and throw a split fingered fastball.
