ROI Results 5/29 @ Churchill
It was a tough ROI day at Churchill with only 3 tickets cashed and only one player
able to show a profit. In a bit of irony Ruffian cashed her winning ticket on Mighty Heart in race 6. The ironic part? It was the Blame Stakes named after the only horse to beat a Ruffian favorite, Zenyatta. Mighty Heart payed a double digit $21.40 and Ruff got back $267.50 for her astute pick. Congrats on the win Ruffian. Nicely played on a day most of us were lost in the fog. See you all at the Elmont oval on Saturday. WIN... Ruffian... +$167.50... R 6 #1 = $25 WIN $21.40 X 12.5... $267.50 Don Guido -$16.80 R 7: $12 exacta 7/2.3.4.8 $13.20 X 6... $79.20 Cal828 -$36.00 Cruzan -$57.50 R11. 4 25.00 Place $3.40 X 12.5... $42.50 Joly B -$66.00 Indian Hemp -$80.00 Real Quiet -$99.00 Roamin -$100.00 Digger -$100.00 NJ Stinks -$100.00

Yep, Patty cried and I threw a sofa pillow at the TV. Good thing I didn't have the remote in my hand. Silver Charm's loss made me very upset. And Patty cried even more when Real Quiet lost.

DON= “ Silver Charm's loss made me very upset. “
IMHO Many of the railbirds agree with my opinion why SILVER CHARM LOST He was known for easing up if he saw another horse out of his eye near him ….. Everybody knew that including the jockey Gary Stevens! Way TOO SOON he put him on the lead THE jockey behind him knowing About Silver Charm running style Regarding a horse next to him Did a very clever move by putting a horse between him and Silver Charm On the outside and easily ran to the wire to win My Tears Flowed all day |
