The hoss who ran third in the first race is out of a Spectacular Bid mare. A reason to remember Spectacular Bid is cool. What A jet he was. I like the one when the Groom told Ronnie Franklin he better wipe that smile off his face that the boss was hot and he answered , we win didn’t we ?

The Bid is definitely one of the all time greats.
