Default ROI Results 4/23 @ Keeneland

Our Keeneland experience is at an end with a nice performance by one of our players. 6
winning wagers were recorded and all four payout slots were filled. Joly hit an exacta but
missed profitability. Eclipse takes the 4th spot with a $20 place bet on Scalding in the 8th
and wound up $32 to the good with the help of a number of scratches. Cruzan nails third
place with a win and place cash in races 3 and 9 both worth about $75 each. Digger gets
back on track with a cash on Channel Maker in the 9th and finished up $70 for the day to
go along with his points win. Do I sense a trip to Bowie next week? This weeks winner in
a dominant performance was Cal. Cal was one of three players to cash in race 9 and the
man from Arkansas did it best. Cal hit a strong trifecta in the race which paid a generous
$48.25 for each 50 cents and Cal had it 8 times. The total payout was good for $386 and
a profit of $294 on the afternoon. Nicely done Cal. Congrats on the win. Following are the
unofficial results pending a board review. Check your scores cause there were some late
scratches that affected some arrays. See you all next week as we close out April and head
toward the first Saturday in May.

And I just realized that's a repeat ROI win for Cal and his 4th win to tie Don Guido and NJ Stinks. A "double" nicely played to Cal.

I think I'm far behind those two, but if they keep staying away, I might get lucky and catch up, but you never know, I am also capable of getting ice cold and not winning another contest. 4 wins in a year is usually about it for me, but it is encouraging that I have 4 wins before we even hit the halfway mark. Maybe all this practice is finally paying off(after a mere 40 plus years of playing).

Cal. Your up over a thousand bucks so your doing something right. NJ Stinks and Don Guido are definitely catchable. And Zippy is making money too thus far.

Good to know. No pressure. You'd think we were playing for real money.

The way my ROI results have been going for the past couple of months, I'm oh so very glad that we are not.

Surprisingly the balances on my ADW accounts are higher than they were at the beginning of that time. I guess that is better than if it were the other way around.

An unusual year for me. I put money in my ADWs last year just before the Derby. Usually lose it over the course of a year, but still have my money from last year plus a few dollars more. I am expecting a meteor to strike my house at any moment.

Time to thank you Real Quiet for keeping roi numbers for all of us here.
Would be fun to go back in time to Bowie time.

Hey now, I also lost a lot of possibilities due to scratches! Also got 2/3 of P3 despite multiple scratches of my picks. Congrats Cal, and thank you for picking SA for this week, only track I would be able to participate in this week due to later post time.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the venue. The winner of the points contest determines that and last week it was Digger.
