PRE-SCRATCHES 10th: OC/Cond., 3+, 8.5f (Hi-5, Swinger) Rarely play supers and have tried Hi-5's perhaps 3 times (with one win actually), but this looks like a unique opportunity at Woodbine today. Paid just under $5,000 for the .20 with almost $1.7MM bet in, so pool was $2,000,000.
From an inclusion view, the winner was absolutely plausible, but the 9 was well down the consider list. Can't complain about the 6 horses I used (2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th), but need to read up on structure for these Hi-5's.. Have heard building an Exacta box over a Tri box is an approach.. Imagine finding a way to spread wide for 4th and 5th is another option. Anyone play them regularly?
