ROI Results 8/10 @ Del Mar
It's nice to visit Del Mar once in a while. The weather is usually predictable, the racing is good
and this week we found a few winners. Unfortunately the mutuels were kind of low and while 7 tickets were cashed only three players showed a profit. Don eaked out a profit and finished third with an exacta in the 8th. Digger edged him out with a winning ticket on Devil Among Us in the 9th and gets 2nd place. The big winner this week was Cal. His win was triggered by trifecta's in races 4 and 6. The biggest one came in race 6 and he needed it to secure the win. A 50 cent bet was worth $56.15 and he had it twice and propelled him to a nice profit of $96.90 on the California venue. Congrats on the win Cal. Nicely arrayed. I could be wrong, but seems like there could be a small error on Don's score because of the dead heat in that race. You have the payoff as $4.40, but one horse paid $1.70 and the other $3.40 so the combined payoff would be $5.10?
Which would, I think, give Don a return of $127.50 or $27.50 to the good?
