ROI Results 3/29 @ GP / OP

Two more Derby preps are in the books and the leader board continues to change from week
to week as we hit the home stretch. Three tickets were cashed at Oaklawn and three at
Gulfstream but only the Oaklawn bets were good enough for the points results. Cal hit a tri
in race 14 at Gulfstream and Indian Hemp hit 2 superfecta's there but neither could return
home with a profit. Real Quiet takes the second spot with 2 small exacta's in races 8 and 10
at Oaklawn and with the aid of 3 scratches came back to the barn $35 to the good. It wasn't
close to being good enough as Joly B rolled home with a big win and a nice $220+ profit.
JB played a trifecta in race 6 at Oaklawn and the 6-4-1 combo paid a nice $19.80 for each
of his $16 dollar tickets worth $316.80. Congrats on the win Joly B. Nicely played. Following
are the unofficial results. Please check your tickets as it is always a challenge scoring
multiple cards. There were at least two errors placing wagers on the races and neither had
any effect on the scoring but they could have presented a problem. Next week there are
3 major prep races so the points winner is going to be put on the spot again. I remember as
a “ute” growing up watching the progression in New York of the Swift, Bayshore, Gotham and
Wood going 6, 7 ,8 and 9 furlongs at Aqueduct. Lately it seems the Triple Crown preps
through NY haven't been as compelling. Maybe this year will be an exception but I doubt
