Jim

Thats what was promised when this surface was laid down. Its supposed to be the same ALL the time, and require no upkeep. Im implying the track isnt as advertised, any buffoon can see that. Not saying you are a buffoon, but its obvious this track is nowhere near what it was sold as.

Aqu inner is a better winter surface than TWP poly.

The AQU inner is a good surface, but it doesn't handle rain like poly though. Even with a good amount of rain on the poly you can hardly see any change.

How long are you going to keep saying how it was sold, "same all the time and no upkeep"? Maybe it was oversold, I have tried repeatedly to conceed that point. That is an issue perhaps between the manufacturer and the purchaser. It simply doesn't matter to me how it was sold. I am asking myself the question, " is it overall better than the dirt that it replaced." I think it is, I know how you feel.

Youre right jim, aqu doesnt handle the rain as well. How often does it rain during winter racing though? We are takling about a track thats basically for the months of Dec-Feb

The composition of the track may not change, but the surface its self changes. It freezes, and they are constantly trying to even it out because they screwed it up taking the top 4 inches off.

They have been "tweaking" the poly now for going on two years. If it takes nearly two years to solve a problem -- that's more than "tweaking".

Here are the lies as spelled out by Martin Collins -- the "low kickback" and "dustfree" are particularly interesting:

http://www.polytrack.com/advantages.html

They don't "harrow" it -- but they do use machinery on it routinely throughout a card to treat it. Machinery made by Cousins.

Can you imagine using that garbage "indoors"? Better bring the SCUBA gear so you can breath. Unbelievable.
