![]() Just going to make some spot plays at Hollywood early, then tackle the late pick 4, which looks tough. Here's my quick take on it.
6) 1,5,8,11 not convinced Saracina wants 7F, but I'm not about to get tossed out of the pk4 by another lone speed horse going wire to wire. Really like Headley's Chosen Royalty in this spot, but will go 4 deep knowing how wide open this race possibly is. 7) 2,11 Tough to handicap races with so many horses who never run a terrible race, but have no interest in passing a horse when it counts (see Soupy, Westerly Magic, etc..) Potential is a potential single if he didn't get hung out wide in the 11 slot. Canani's dropper "The Big One" fits well vs. these. 8) 3 Going with the chalk. Bejarano on a big favorite is usually money in the bank, and although these marathon races can be tricky to read, he just has too much class for the rest of these. 9) 1,5,7,10 Wanted to leave out both Ginobili and Premium Quality, as I don't like hanging my hat on 2 money burning under-performing types for the final leg of the pk4, but I'll include Ginobili off last solid effort. Dancing Wildfire could be live on the rail, with Bejarano and Drysdale clicking at 33%. Magical Freedom looks ready for Gulliot, and I'll throw in the 10, Blaze N Waggin as a long-shot possiblity. Ran in what was regarded as one of the key 2-yo maiden races last summer in DelMar, and returns off a long layoff with a solid work pattern, a capable jockey in Espinoza and the ultimate equipment change. $32 for $1 Good luck today! |
