He got beat by the 1 horse(Cee Bargara.) Patches already won at the level that the #1 horse hasn't been able to win at. He just wasn't ready, or re-injured. There were a couple in here that had much more class, but where did they finish? Behind him. As I mentioned before, the barn is one of the best with comebackers. They come back sharp, but not this one. I asked if he was ready, and they said he was ready. I disagree totally about the distance being a concern. Most big closers are better at a mile. That's one of the reasons I liked him. I thought it was less likely that we would get a super-slow pace going a mile. I was right about that. He got a good pace for him. He's a big horse. You're bringing up 1 pound in weight change? The 2 hole didn't bother me, because I new he was gunna be last, and make his outside move. Everything went like I had expected, but he wasn't ready(or he re-injured something.) The race was there to be won. He didn't go on. If you want to sell the winner as being better, go ahead. I know the 1 horse isn't better. Hey, he didn't take money. Probably wasn't ready. Most of the time, this barn's winners get bet. There were things I didn't like. That was #1 on the list. You're right. Can't complain when an 11-1 shot hangs. Connections weren't backing it at the windows. So, can't be that surprised he hung. You didn't have a selection in the race. So, I don't know why you're coming in to late quarterback. I could tear up any selection 4 or 5 hours after it loses. That's easy.
