i really have been trying to figure out for the last year when tvg became available on direct tv for the first time?i know they started up in 99 but when did everyone else on here figure out it was avaiable and when did you first start watching it on direct tv? i came across it in late 2002 .anyone here watching it ealier on direct tv? same with hrtv anyone know when dish network first started carrying them or when you first seen it? much appreciated and i understand most of you will proababley not know but...........

i have no idea but i like having 5 newschannels and 5 shopping channels and zero horseracing on cable. i do appreciate espn under the circumstances.

i agree with you , dishnetwork alone has like 10 shopping channels wtf?sumitas are you renting and not allowed a dish or just dont want one? i know i would not be as into the game without these channels. a godsend to be able to follow the sport on a consistent basis

i am complacent about it. i've got the cable, don't watch much tv, and just keep the cable. i could get the direct, i like german channels (not on cable either), but then their price goes up so the internet and espn works for me for horse racing.
