Default Rachel Alexandra to the Preakness?

http://www.drf.com/news/article/103544.html

A transfer of Rachel Alexandra would raise the possibility of the filly being supplemented for a $100,000 fee to the next jewel of the Triple Crown, the May 16 Preakness at Pimlico. The filly was not nominated to the Triple Crown, and her breeder and co-owner, Dolph Morrison, was adamant in the wake of her Oaks victory that she would not be supplemented to the Preakness or June 6 Belmont Stakes.

No chance. Sell now.

She is a special special filly. I almost couldn't believe my eyes last Friday- but $10 million is a LOT of money, more than any filly has ever sold for as far as I know.

Does Assmussen ever use Borel? Borel may not have his choice of horses.

Two massive egos. They may think they can win with anybody aboard.

Can't see how that's ever happened if the Derby winner ran in the Preakness.

You can't pass up a chance at the Triple Crown..Triple Crown is once in a lifetime opportunity. Who knows how many more chances Borel will have?

Once thing's for certain... this situation doesn't occur too frequently.

Probably not many, because according to some people around here he's a low percentage jockey
