Thanks so much. I thought they said it when a horse would run out of gas and slow down, and maybe it was like they got a bloodclot.

But mother fuer makes total sense.

Yeah, they only say it after losses and they are like laughing when they say it. It is hilarious how they say it, I thought it just meant that the losing was gonna give them a BLOOOOODCLOTTTTT!

A long time, but most years I wasn't gambling. Why? Is it something that everyone knew already? I really doubt it.

If you hang around the tracks, in NY especially, it's sort of hard not to basically understand what it means.

Next thing you're going to tell me is you never went to the West Indian food stand...far and away the best food at the track.

I have been there. It is the best food because the food sucks at Belmont. I usually just walk from the Vet Village over to Kentucky Friend Chicken or Wendy's if I am there for the races. I love spending $10 at Nathans for a hot dog, fries and coke. Ridiculous. I do like Carvel though.

Agree with most of that, though I'm not a KFC guy ( for a number of reasons ), though the West Indian food stand is legitimately good. The food at Belmont is really a disaster.

I once had a pumpkin soup, that they said was West Indian, it was pretty good...

I have never heard someone saying Bloodclot, so you can add me to that list...

One time in Jamaica, we were riding on a bus and listening to the radio, next thing I know they break in with a race from Kingston Downs, that was cool...

I think it is more like jerk chicken. There is a great BBQ competition at Belmont Park though during the summer called Grill Kings.
