I did nothing of the sort. I compared a great mare to three great mares of the past.

Thanks for listening.

The class of Lady's Secret and heart of Personal Ensign are at least somewhat worthy of debate.

It wasn't comparing one great horse with three greats from the past .. it was saying Azeri is equal to those 3 great horses at their best aspect.

I know claimers that have the speed of Zenyatta, the class of Mine That Bird, and the heart of Dynever ... and those horses account for wins in the '09 Breeders Cup Classic, '09 Kentucky Derby, and the title of BTW's favorite horse of the past decade.

Looks like an upward career trajectory. One day he may be calling the NYRA races.

I must be having a good week. You guys are pulling up stuff from 5 years ago to bust my balls.

Don't worry I'm sure I'll do something stupid that's more current.

Patience.

Which is a downright shame because he is not a very good announcer.

Only if he wrecks it and offers to buy it after the fact.

Collmus is an okay annoncer, but he is no Vic. When was the last time someone started a thread about Collmus? I guarantee you that if any track announcer will be mentioned during the Super Bowl media blitz, it is going to be Vic.

This might be your most clever post only because it suggests you have the hots for Mrs. Wormer.. Perhaps you should call specials at the Supermarket..."Ladies Hot house Cuke in front"
