What a racehorse

Have a feeling she's gunna love CD … just like her old man did.

And she's clearly a legit 10f runner.

Obviously a lot can happen between now and early Nov … but it'd really be something if Shirreffs can take down back-to-back Classsics with this great mare.

That said, Father Time eventually catches up to all great athletes.

Don't believe a 6-year-old has ever won the great American race...

Your post made me remember just how good a horse Street Cry really was. He's one of those under appreciated types, though I remember him only running twice at CD. A good third in the BC Juvie and a romp against Dollar Bill in the Foster.

And yeah, it's been all 3-5 year olds winning the Classic.

This is a good point, she will be nearing the end of her career if she makes it to the BC, I'm sure if she doesn't run well there, there will be many that will come out of the woodwork expounding her mediocrity. She may be just great enough to overcome that also.

There will be nothing to overcome.

You are ridiculous.

What's ridiculous about a horse that is one month away in November from turning 7 maintaining the form she has shown thus far in an illustrious career? I don't subscribe to the theory that horses are machines, maybe you do...

BTW Off topic, isn't it time to change for you to change that avatar?

Do you believe that at some magic point during the summer, suddenly Zenyatta will start feeling the effects of old age?

As for my avatar, I was going to change it at 433 PM tomorrow, but now I'm not so sure.

Why do you ask? The pedophilia thing?

One never knows, look at Cigar's 96 campaign at age 6; any knowledgeble person who has been around the game long enough knows the possibility exists.

Your avatar? I don't know, it was only a suggestion since you have had it for as long as I remember, and yes I think the guy is a creep. But that's just my OP.

Cigar was a much heavier raced horse than Zenyatta, and also had known physical issues. He traveled much more extensively as well.

As for my avatar, I only recently put that one back. For at least a year, I think, I had an even creepier avatar that I was using, but I can see how you could mistake one for the other.
