Default When In Vegas - What's Your Favorite Spot for Horse Racing?

Just wondering what everyone's favorite Vegas spot is for watching and betting on horse racing. Been there a few times and have not found one I like yet. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Just spent 3 days at the South Point Casino over Derby weekend. Really was happy with the whole setup. Plenty of tellers and very comfortable for viewing at your seat or on several big screens. Excellent cocktail waitresses (surprise, surprise) and food (Del Mar Deli) close by. Highly recommended.

The Mexi restaurant there is GREAT. What a bargain!!!

I like Mandalay Bay, but most of them are pretty good. Caesars is one of my favorite sportsbooks but probably my least favorite racebook because it's so busy, you get shut out a lot unless you want to bet with 10 MTP.

Agreed.............Baja Miguel's has a daily tequila special from 5-7 each evening. Any tequila drink is $2 and you can pick ANY tequila they have in stock. The margaritas are quite refreshing!!

I like the Hilton. The people there are very accomodating and the racebook is very big with a lot of TVs that all work.

The Wynn is nice throughout the entire property and the service is great. Nice set up, but can be a little short on tellers so gotta bet at about the 4 minute mark to make sure you don't get shut out.

I like Mirage because of location but most of the mega resorts have large boards and tv's. They dont really cater to the player like they used to or some of the smaller places do, I know the Orleans has contests all the time.

Caesar's Sports Book is nice. It's the first of the big ones when they refurbished most of them 15 to 20 years ago.

Has anyone played at any of the Station casinos where they have some of the NHC qualifiers?

Red Rocks is prolly where they have the qualifiers, it's their "high end" property - but at the rest while they're fine and there's plenty of seating, good luck finding a television/monitor cause you'll find the locals firmly entrenched at the ones that are in working order ...
