Horse was obviously well meant, was the favorite in both the pick 3 and pick 4.

Of course, that's the risk you take with an apprentice, even a decent one like Lenclud. Pretty impressive debuts from the firsters, though.

The headon shows that the break wasn't the jock's fault. He was severely slammed off stride by the horse to his outside. He'll win next out at IND.
