[quote=miraja2;652889]Why should all presidents have to go to just that particular cemetery? There are veterans buried in cemeteries all over the country, and the one Obama was at today was dedicated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Personally I don't really give a crap what any president does on Memorial Day, but I don't think it is that outrageous to "honor" fallen veterans at various parts of the country rather than just at Arlington year after year.[/QUOTE

Arlington National is the only true place to honor all the fallen veterans.

Actually, if you agree with him 1000%, then the second part of your statement is entirely wrong because what he said was 1000% percent the opposite of what you just did.

On the other hand, the fact that there is even a thread about this is hilarious.

Just to be clear I didn't have a problem w/Obama not visiting Arlington. IMO He doesn't belong near the place. He ran and won on a set of ideals and plans that no one buried there could comprehend much less believe.

My disagreement is him demanding explanations from an ally for an action that caused no deaths while ignoring another that was attacked and had 47 killed!
