I just don't understand with that realization how one would come up with even the thought of Israel being greatest human right violator in the world? To cite and give a man who thinks such that accolade is sickening IMO and that's why this dog won't lay down!

Now please once again Riot concentate and answer, "If a person (Carter) says that Israel is the greatest human right violator in the world, do you think that is consistent with having a great understaing of the Middle East?"

But now I would like you to answer my question. If a person (Carter) says that Israel is the greatest human right violator in the world, do you think that is consistent with having a great understaing of the Middle East? I think that anyone that would make such a statement clearly does not have a good understanding of the Middle East. |

I was literally flabergasted when I heard some of the statements he made in later years such as the one about Israel being the greatest human-rights violator in the world. I have lost all respect for Carter. After listening to some of his statements in later years, I think he is totally clueless on the Middle East. Not only is he clueless, he is also an obvious Israel-hater. It took him a while to come out of the closet, but he eventually did. |

I didn't make any "mistakes". I don't embrace the fallicous arguments and deliberate ignorance necessary to support the simplistically black and white world-view you political rocket-scientists share

Riot, you do have moral ambiguity, and so do these Conservatives. When he (and that bitch Hillary) failed to honor their promises to recognize the Armenian Genocide, did Conservatives care (that he lied?) Not much. They wanted their "Moderate" pet Muslim Friend happy. Well, now that friend is helping Hamas. That so called friend's Gov't put a 100 terrorists on boats that were supposed to be full of Humanitarian activists. Conservatives should of backed the Armenian Genocide Resolution, but they lacked moral clarity. They wanted a base in Turkey. So they could keep these two loser wars going on.

I have no "moral ambiguity". I know exactly where I stand on moral issues. Especially when I hear hate-filled crap.

getting back to the point, if this is true how could a Jew ever vote for this man again?
THE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned that senior Obama administration officials have been telling foreign governments that the administration intends to support an effort next week at the United Nations to set up an independent commission, under UN auspices, to investigate Israel's behavior in the Gaza flotilla incident. The White House has apparently shrugged off concerns from elsewhere in the U.S. government that a) this is an extraordinary singling out of Israel, since all kinds of much worse incidents happen around the world without spurring UN investigations; b) that the investigation will be one-sided, focusing entirely on Israeli behavior and not on Turkey or on Hamas; and c) that this sets a terrible precedent for outside investigations of incidents involving U.S. troops or intelligence operatives as we conduct our own war on terror. http://weeklystandard.com/blogs/sour...n-un-next-week
