I wouldn't fall in love with Position Limit too much. She was lukewarm on the toteboard for a Pletcher 2YO, the race was on a wet track, and the runner-up has the look of a potential professional maiden.

I love the alien... Only 2 horses can win that race though.

Look at the maiden race Sovereign Default comes out of... 3 horses have come back to run. Air Support was well bet and won a MSW going long on the turf, Stay Thristy won for fun yesterday and seems to be a big buzz horse, and Punster ran ok improving his beyer slightly while running second behind a well bet Chad Brown firster.

If Violette, Baffert and Giant's Causeway were in a 3 way bar fight, who would you jump in to help?

I thought the Baffert ran well in here. Todd trips out, while Garcia is pressing some POS through 21.3 opening quarter. Todd was likely best either way today, but the Baffert stalked nicely in her career debut and Im not sure why Martin felt he had to engage so early.

I think the Adirondack was actually a quality race this year. Not often that you see 17 lengths back to 4th place in a 10 horse field.
