Does the 3yr old turf division suck and would I take him over Paddy O'POS, YES.
Hey I still think Twirling can be better believe it or not. That was one dominating performance. Do you think they will ever run them in the same race?

Oh by the way I have been watching Twirling

Just once dude, will you at least provide some context when you make one of your posts that make no sense?

Thanks for providing some context there.

She probably got MS from that crappy food she poisons people with.

The Mile could be the most contentious on the card. Makfi, the 2000 Guineas winner, beat both Goldikova and Paco Boy at Deauville today on very soft ground and his ultimate objective is the Mile as well. We don't know if Makfi's contemporaries Canford Cliffs and Dick Turpin, who have beaten him previously, are pointing toward the Mile, but if either comes it could be a barnburner. Dick Turpin is trying 10f on Tuesday at York and if he runs well, he may go the Irish Champion/Champion S (at Newmarket) route instead.

No, she has some really rare problem. Jaw joint problem, or something unusual. Whatever it is, I wouldn't wish it on anybody.

i remember reading about what happened to her jaw. she had dozed off, and she said her head had tipped forward. something caused her to wake and she abruptly lifted her head, and her lower jaw actually locked over her upper jaw- her lower teeth were actually in front of her upper...she couldn't open her mouth and had to be rushed to the emergency room. its not ms or the like. something i had never heard of happening to anyone.

I brought it up as an example of one of those rare situations where (evidently) money isn't all that helpful. It's just a lil shocking to me that this is the most that could be done for her.

There have been some pretty good turf horses that didn't care for the turf course at Churchill. Seems like horses really bunch up there, and horses are forced to wait until the stretch, or make a tiring move outside of horses on the backstretch/ far turn. It just seems to have a tight feel to the configuration. Track position seems really important on that course.

I've seen Sidney's Candy up close and personal.

He beat my wager in the Santa Anita Derby. That was his day.

I don't think I'll be betting him in any races I foresee.

I do hope Jenny Craig is OK. Giving a little personal, I awoke early the Friday morning of Veterans Day weekend five years ago and realized my left arm was paralyzed from the biceps down. I could move my finger tips, and that was it.

I went back to sleep, hoping it would miraculously be better when I awoke a second time.

It wasn't.

My doctor suspected a stroke or something so I was a resident of a hospital after breakfast and for the three day Veterans Day weekend.

After mega tests and images on and of the heart, brain and spine it was determined my radial nerve in the left arm was dead.

Apparently I slept on it too long, or something.

It took 6 months of physical therapy starting with 1 oz weights, and a little willpower to get it back to about 80%.

I drink beers with my left hand for continued physical therapy and maintenance. Self prescribed therapy, of course.

With my limited education and learnin, I do like to take shots and forget about the subtance.
I have always felt at home here on Derby Trail , considering the total sum of the collective I.Q. is around 100 when you remove the high and low.
